Guess what? It turns out that taking sleeping pills may not be the cure you are looking for. An article was just published today that discusses new research linking insomnia and sleep apnea. From a group of insomnia patients, “91 percent of those who completed a sleep study suffered from previously undiagnosed obstructive sleep apnea” (http://www.stevenspointjournal.com/story/life/2014/10/05/new-research-links-insomnia-sleep-apnea/16645087/). Sleeping pills have a lot of side effects including addiction, dizziness, uncontrollable shaking, and impairment (http://www.webmd.com/sleep-disorders/guide/understanding-the-side-effects-of-sleeping-pills). So, you may want to figure out if you have Sleep Apnea as soon as possible. I wrote a post about simple sleep apnea indicators (http://wp.me/p5950Y-1w) not too long ago. Check it out to see if you may have this condition.
